Chasing trails of wind through high fronds of golden-toned rye, Chattanooga Whiskey Straight Rye malt whiskey, or Rye 99, is rich rye inspired by Chattanooga Whiskey Co.’s Experimental Distillery’s first batch of whiskey. Rye 99 blends a mash bill of pale malted rye, yellow corn, caramel malted rye, and chocolate malted rye in an attemperated fermentation process extended by an additional 7 days. Rye 99 malt is finished in charred oak barrels and aged for over 3 years with a batch size of 6-10 barrels - making each released limited. On the nose, enjoy scents of orange cream over malt and crushed pine. The palate shifts with toasted graham cookie, cherries, and citrus over baking spice. …
