Nectar and light smoke on the button. A lot of citrus and dried natural product in pleasent significant piece. Short oaky finish yet pleasent generally.

This is the primary note in an arrangement originating from an Inver House tasting/ace class tonight. The anCnoc 18 was the second measure of the night (after the multi year) and it is very something. The multi year old anCnoc is a light new fruity undertaking; this in the interim sees some time in first fill Oloroso sherry containers and it appears. Rich full and having large amounts of chocolate-secured raisin notes flavors and nutty notes this is a darker substantially more liberal issue than its more youthful forerunner. It's still maybe a piece too direct to even consider getting five stars from me however this is a fine whisky well worth searching out and appreciating.
